We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing spaces where Family Caregivers can escape to care for themselves. There are over 60 million Family Caregivers in America. We exist to recognize their contributions to our society by providing spaces made for Family Caregivers.
Why Revive and Thrive?
Our History
Revive and Thrive was founded in 2026 by Tonya York. Revive and Thrive exists because Family Caregivers give everything — their time, their health, their sleep, their future — and too often, they do it alone. "After nearly thirty years of caregiving for my youngest sister, I learned firsthand that caregivers don’t need another pamphlet or another reminder to “take care of yourself.” We need sanctuary. We need community. We need spaces where our stories are honored and our exhaustion is understood without explanation."--Tonya York
Revive and Thrive: Family Caregiver Retreats was established to create those spaces.
Spaces where Family Caregivers can rest, reconnect with themselves, and feel held by a community that truly gets it. Our retreats blend healing practices, peer wisdom, and moments of real restoration — not as a luxury, but as a lifeline.
We’re building a movement that says caregivers deserve rest, dignity, and joy.
And we’re inviting leaders who believe in that truth to help us protect and grow this sanctuary for years to come.
